I have to admit, as a huge fan of Planet of the Apes, they really outdid themselves with this one. Normally, when they drag out a series, it falls apart. But this is one of those films that was meant to be seen on a big screen. It takes you on an incredible journey filled with thrilling action sequences, heartfelt moments, and thought-provoking themes. Also, the storytelling is top-notch!! It had me hooked the whole time, which is more than I can say for most of the stuff I’ve seen this year. This movie is definitely on top.
