This movie features a princess and a dragon, with a straightforward story that initially gave me low expectations, but it surpassed them in almost every way.

Unlike most adventure/fantasy films, Damsel is set in a more confined space with a simpler plot, which makes it refreshing, exciting, and even suspenseful at times. Visually, it's stunning — from the landscapes and costumes to the colors and creative lighting, the overall visual quality makes it a real treat for the eyes. It reminded me a bit of Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) in terms of its imaginative visuals.

It was also fun to see Millie Bobby Brown in a different, yet similarly adventurous, role compared to her breakout in Stranger Things
