I really hoped to love Joker: Folie à Deux as much as the first film, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations. 👎👎
The sequel loses the original’s dark storytelling charm, drowning it in unnecessary musical numbers. Instead of a gripping psychological thriller, it feels more like a quirky Broadway show.😂😂😂
Joaquin Phoenix is fantastic, as always, but even his incredible talent can’t lift a film that seems bogged down by a confusing direction.
