Honestly, this movie’s a straight 10/10 for me, no cap. Hands down my fave movie of 2021, and it’s not even close. Visually insane, the action was solid, direction on point, and the acting felt real.
I haven’t read the book, but I still loved it. Got me curious about the characters and the world, but even as a first part, it hit hard. I bet people who don’t know the story will still get hooked, 'cause I mean, who wouldn’t vibe with epic spaceships and giant sandworms?
Also, I think this could win over a bunch of Star Wars fans who’ve been let down recently. Unlike Disney’s Star Wars stuff, Dune is way more grown-up, with deeper lore and way cooler characters.
