Panah Panahi ha deciso di rendere disponibile per il download gratuito la sua opera prima "Hit the Road" (Jaddeh Khaki, 2021), pluripremiata nei festival internazionali. La decisione, comunicata in una story di Instagram, è maturata in seguito alla messa al bando del film in Iran. Il regista sostiene che i diritti d'autore dell'opera appartengano a lui stesso e a suo padre Jafar Panahi, entrambi produttori del film.
